New Business Sales Executive

The Role:

Ability to demonstrate consistent monthly sales results. As a New Business Sales Executive you will work closely with a Team Leader in targeting specific accounts within their customer base as well as trying to reinstate lapsed accounts and cold calling prospects from our database. You must be able to increase your monthly sales and sustain a consistent monthly target. You will primarily be selling WWP’s portfolio to specified market sectors, gaining leads and converting them into appointments for Account Managers to attend.  Sales forecasts and progress reports must be submitted to your Team Leader on a weekly basis.  Your sales pipeline should be three times your target to ensure that you can achieve your allocated target.


Education / Experience:

  • Educated to at least GCSE level in English and Maths with skills in spreadsheet and word processing packages.
  • Minimum of two years telephone sales experience, generating new business, ideally within a training organisation is desireable but not essential.
  • Experience of target driven sales and generating a high volume of outbound telephone calls.
  • History of being an empathetic, self motivated communicator and team player.
  • Competent writer of business letters, emails, quotations, proposals and competent user of MS Office, particularly Word, Outlook and Excel.


Core Job Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting for new customers – minimum requirement 100 cold calls per day.
  • Customer management.
  • Preparing quotes and proposals for prospects and customers.
  • Liaising with Resourcing and giving dates to clients.
  • Closing business and achieving your targets.
  • Booking a minimum of six appointments per week for Account Managers in your team.
  • Attend training to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills. 

 


Key Performance Indicators:

  • Consistently achieve monthly targets selling WWP’s range of learning and development solutions.
  • Present weekly activity plan/forecast to Team Leader.
  • Adherence to relevant internal processes and generation of accurate paperwork.
  • Generate a high level of new business through cold calling activities and maintain Strategic Account Plans for Top accounts.
  • Maintain a healthy and consistent pipeline of opportunities from existing and new accounts – accurate forecasting must be demonstrated.
  • Maintain activity to facilitate target achievement – follow daily activity plan.
  • Effective team collaboration.

Account Manager

The Role:

You will primarily be selling WWP’s portfolio to specified customers, gaining leads and converting them into appointments.  Sales forecasts and progress reports must be submitted to your Manager on a weekly basis.  Your sales pipeline should be three times your target to ensure that you can achieve your allocated target.

 

Education / Experience:

  • Educated to GCSE level in English and Maths.
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office.
  • Minimum of two years sales experience, generating new business, ideally within a training organisation.
  • Experience of target driven sales and generating a high volume of leads and opportunities.
  • History of being an empathetic, self motivated communicator and team player.
  • Competent writer of business letters, emails, quotations, proposals etc.
